Lady Gaga has reportedly decided to delay her world tour until 2026.
The 38-year-old pop superstar has just dropped the lead single, ‘Disease’, from her hotly anticipated seventh studio album, but fans hoping to see the ‘Born This Way’ singer live in 2025 have been dealt a blow.
Due to huge names, including Oasis and Coldplay, booking up multiple dates at stadiums across the UK, there are said to be no spaces available for Gaga – whose last tour was the ‘Chromatica Ball’ in 2022 – forcing her to push back the run by a year.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Lady Gaga is planning the biggest tour of her career — but it will have to wait.
“She sold out two nights at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during her 20-date Chromatica Ball tour in 2022 and the demand was so huge, she wants to push the boat out even more this time.
“Her next album will be out in the new year and she hoped to spend much of the summer on tour.
“But acts like Oasis and Coldplay have thwarted it.
“She has been told there’s no room at the inn, so she will have to make do with touring in 2026 instead.
“That won’t be music to the ears of her fans but at least it will give them time to save for tickets.”
Appearing on the ‘Smallzy’s Surgery’ podcast recently, Gaga teased she was planning some concerts.
She said: “All I can tell you is that I’ve just been feeling so creative, and really connected to music and I’ve been working on so much music. I’m really excited to play it for the fans.”
‘Disease’ follows Gaga’s hit collaboration with Bruno Mars, ‘Die With A Smile’, and her starring role as Harleen “Lee” Quinzel in ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ alongside Joaquin Phoenix and her companion album ‘Harlequin’.
